Port Institute of Studies and Cooperation - FEPORTS

 

FEPORTS-PEQUEÑOThe Port Institute for Studies and Co-Operation in the Valencian Region – FEPORTS, originally known as IPEC, was founded by the Valencian regional government, the Generalitat Valenciana, and the Port Authorities of Alicante, Castellón and Valencia on the 15th April 1998. The Institute's basic aim is to build links between the commercial and recreational marine sectors and to be a means of development for the marine sector and of building the region's competitiveness. It is indeed the organization used by the Valencian Regional Government to support the port sector in both general interest harbors and ports under the competence of the Regional Government.

It was registered with the Register of Foundations on July 14th and operations started on December 1st, 1998.

The head office of FEPORTS is in downtown Valencia.
